Live Flue Gas Recovery (FGR) Showcase

This session offers a deep dive into the engineering reality of building decarbonization. Attendees will witness the practical application of patented Flue Gas Recovery (FGR) technology—a critical solution for reclaiming wasted thermal energy in the GTA’s existing building stock.

Learning Objectives

  • Thermodynamics of Latent Heat Recovery: Analyzing the phase-change energy release in flue gas condensation.
  • Measurement & Verification (M&V): Reviewing Measurement Canada-certified (EN 1434) BTU metering and real-time performance data (11–12% verified efficiency gains).
  • Retrofit Engineering: Evaluating non-invasive integration strategies for legacy hydronic systems with zero operational downtime.
  • Decarbonization Roadmaps: Understanding the role of FGR as a foundational step toward full building electrification.
